MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., March 25. ARIZONA State’s Joona Puhakka successfully defended his 3-meter diving title by scoring 645.20 points. Puhakka, Thursday night's champion in the 1-meter competition, finished 14 points ahead of Georgia’s Chris Colwill, who took second (631.15).

Auburn’s Steve Segerlin placed third, tallying 618.30 points.
