CAS Panel Ends Hearing On De Bruin's Appeal -- May 5, 1999

LAUSANNE, Switzerland - An arbitration panel ended its hearing into Olympic champion Michelle De Bruin's appeal of a four-year drug-related suspension. Officials with the the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) said it might be days before a ruling on the case will be issued. The panel focused on whether urine sample containers could be opened without detection.
