Mark Chatfield Dies -- January 1, 1999

The swimming world was saddened to learn of the passing on December 23 of Mark Chatfield. Chatfield, who was the 1973 U.S. National champion in the 100 yard breaststroke (57.36), died of lymphoma at the age of 45.
