Blue Tide's Andrew Brown Signs Letter of Intent With Utah -- May 6, 2004

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 6. UTAH Swimming and Diving Head Coach Michael Litzinger has announced that the team will add Andrew Brown for the 2004-05 campaign.

Brown, a Kingwood, Texas, native will swim the butterfly and IM events for the Utes. His credentials include a seventh-place finish at the 2004 NSCA Junior National Championships in the 200 butterfly (1:50.78). He also finished ninth in the 100 butterfly (50.82).

Brown was a member of the 2003 Blue Tide aquatic team as they won the 2003 NSCA Junior Summer Championships team title.

"We are very excited for Andrew to join our program," Litzinger says. "He will be a great addition to a team that is ready to challenge for the Mountain West Conference Championship."

Brown will join Adrienne Coburn, Kelsey Patterson, Lezah Huff and Nick Philpot as new additions to the team for the 2004-05 season.
