AUSTIN, TX - Arizona State senior Francisco Sanchez was part of two meet-record performances Sunday afternoon in the final session of the Texas Invitational, held at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.

In the finals of the 100-yard freestyle, Sanchez smashed his own meet record that he had set earlier in the day, swimming a nation-leading and NCAA automatic time of 42.95. In the morning, his 43.63 had been the fastest previous time in the nation. Sanchez then anchored the Sun Devils' nation-leading 400 freestyle relay, the final event of the day, in a meet-record 2:55.90.
