Lady Vols Cage Razorbacks, 170-130

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark, January 18. UNIVERSITY of Tennessee Women’s Head Coach Dan Colella and Head Diving Coach Dave Parrington’s swimming and diving squad dominated the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks, 170-130, at the Arkansas Natatorium in Fayetteville, Ark., as the Big Orange captured 11 of the 16 available event titles. The Lady Vols are now 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference dual meets this season.

“We talked to the team throughout the week about being focused on the process and not just the results and that the results would be there,” Colella said. “That is exactly what happened today. We had great performances across the board with big swims from Jacque Fessel in the backstroke (NCAA Provisional Qualifier in the 200 back), Tiffany Clay in the breaststroke and Megan Tomes in her events.
