Ohio State Signs Hometown Speedster -- November 23, 2003

COLUMBUS, Ohio, November 23. ANNIE Rennebohm, a senior at Thomas Worthington High School, has signed with the Ohio State women's swimming and diving team, head swimming coach Jeanne Fleck announced Friday.

Rennebohm finished third in the 50-yard freestyle and seventh in the 100-yard freestyle at the state meet, along with placing fourth in the 100-meter freestyle and seventh in the 50-meter freestyle at the USAS sectional meet her junior year. A five-time All-American, Rennebohm also is a Worthington school district swimming record holder in the 100 freestyle.

"We're very excited to keep big Columbus talent at home," Fleck said. "Annie is the top sprinter in Columbus and will bring a lot to the team next year."
