Another Ukrainian Swimmer Receives Two-Year Ban for Steroids

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, October 13. UKRAINIAN swimmer Natalia Khudyakova has been suspended for two years after testing positive for a banned steroid, the sport's governing body, FINA, announced yesterday.

FINA's doping panel suspended the swimmer after two positive doping control results for Stanozolol, a Class C Anabolic Agent.

She was tested on July 25 and 26 at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona. Khudyakova's suspension started on 18th August 2003.

The Ukrainian finished seventh in the women's 50m butterfly in Barcelona. Her finishing position has been stricken from the official results.
