Sports Publications Hires Marketing Coordinator -- July 11, 2003
PHOENIX, July 11. SPORTS Publications, Inc. (SPI) is pleased to announce that it has hired Kimberly Miller as its Marketing Coordinator.
Sports Publications publishes Swimming World and Junior Swimmer magazine, SWIM Magazine, Swimming Technique magazine, Water Polo Scoreboard magazine and SwimInfo.com.
Miller comes to Sports Publications with over fifteen years of event, marketing and program planning experience, and over seven years of sponsorship sales experience with both the City of Scottsdale and The Countrywide Tradition, a major championship on the Senior PGA (golf) Tour, now referred to as the Champions Tour.
In addition to her sales and marketing experience, Miller brings with her a passion for swimming. Kim grew up swimming year 'round in Tucson, Arizona; she was a High School All-American, competed nationally and swam at the University of Arizona.
After "retiring," Miller was an ASCA Level III swim coach, coaching for nine years in the Phoenix area with the Glendale Arizona Swimming Gauchos and Scottsdale Aquatic Club.
Miller will not only work on growing both advertising sales and circulation, she will also help develop programs that will grow new sponsorship and marketing opportunities for Sports Publications, its marketing partners and the swimming community.
