Parkway Swim Club Hosts Summer Sizzler

ST. LOUIS, July 6. THERE were 701 swimmers competing in the 2003 Parkway Summer Sizzler last weekend.

There were 18 individual meet records broken including three by Mary Decenza of the Academy Bullets: 100 meter Fly (1:02.20), 200 Fly (2:17.47), and 100 Free (59.44); three by Melissa Marik (14) of Naperville in the 13-24 age group: 100 Fly (1:06.60), 50 Free (:27.92), and the 200 Back (2:26.80); and three by Matt Ferrarelli (22)of Mizzou: 200 Breast (2:32.41), 400 IM (4:37.61), and 200 Back (2:12.91).
