Water Polo: Posillipo Of Italy Defends FINAL FOUR Title -- June 14, 1998

ZAGREB, CROATIA - Posillipo of Naples, Italy, won its second consecutive LEN "Final Four" Championship with an 8-6 victory over Italian rival Pescara. Mladost of Zagreb defeated Volgograd (Russia) 19-11, behind six goals by Hungarian Zoltan Varga to capture third place.

Although the finals were sold out well in advance, local fans didn't stick around to watch the exciting match which saw Pescara tie the game in the fourth quarter at six, on a goal by Manuel Estiarte.
