Women's Water Polo: USC Downs San Diego State, 11-7 -- February 16, 2003

LOS ANGELES, February 15. SOPHOMORE Eszter Gyori and senior Sofia Konoukh scored three goals each Saturday as No. 3-ranked USC's Trojans defeated No. 7 San Diego State, 11-7, in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action at McDonald's Swim Stadium.

The Women of Troy used four goals in the first period to aid in the win.

USC improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play while San Diego State fell to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in MPSF play.

The Women of Troy travels to UCLA next Friday (Feb. 21) for an MPSF match at 3 p.m.
