Texas Cruises to 19th-Straight Conference Title At 1998 Big 12 Men's Swimming and Diving Championships -- March 1, 1998

From UT - COLLEGE STATION, TX - The No. 3 ranked University of Texas men's swimming and diving team totaled 886 points to Nebraska's 638.5 points to win its 19th-straight conference championship, the longest such streak in the nation, on Saturday night at the 1998 Big 12 Men's Swimming and Diving Championship at the Student Recreation Center Natatorium.

Final team scores were: 1) Texas (886), 2) Nebraska (638.5), 3) Texas A&M (579), 4) Iowa State (470.5), 5) Kansas (439), 6) Missouri (326).
