Stanford Men's Swimming Defeats Arizona State, 153-83 -- February 7, 1998

STANFORD, CA - The top-ranked Stanford men's swimming and diving team defeated No. 12 Arizona State, 153-83 at the deGuerre Pool. Stanford senior Tom Wilkens led the Cardinal as he set a pool record with a time of 1:47.59 in the 200 IM. He broke Michigan's Marcel Wouda's time of 1:48.02 set in 1995. The Cardinal improves to 5-0 on the season while the Sun Devils drop to 2-4.
