Another Pan-Pacific Championships? -- January 14, 1997

From FINA Masters News (David Tree): Yes! There is another Pan-Pacific Championships. For Masters swimmers in the Pacific Region, the major fixture for 1997 will undoubtedly be the Pan Pacific Masters Swimming Championships to be held on the beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii on June 24-29. The Championships have been sanctioned by United States Masters Swimming. A limit of 2,500 competitors has been set and this will be on a "first come - first served" basis. There will be no standards and the meet is Open to all registered Masters swimmers.
