U.S. Coaching Staffs Selected for the 1998 World Championships, the 1997 Pan Pacific Championships and the 1997 World University Games

U.S. Swimming has annouced that Jon Urbancek and Gregg Troy will be the head coaches for the U.S at the 1998 World Championships in Perth, Australia. Urbanchek will be the head men’s coach and will be assisted by Jonty Skinner. Troy will be the head women’s coach and will be assisted by Murray Stephens.

Frank Busch and John Collins will be the head coaches for the 1997 Pan Pacific Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. Busch will be the head men’s coach and will be assisted by Dick Shoulberg. Collins will be the head women’s coach and will be assisted by Jim Richardson.

Mike Chasson and Jack Bauerle will be the head coaches for the 1997 World University Games.

The Phillips 66 National Swimming Championships this summer in Nashville, Tennessee will be the selection meet for all three international competitions.
