LANDSKRONA. Sweden, July 5. THE sun made a dramatic, and welcome, reappearance here at Landskrona, a beach resort seaside city in southern Sweden, and swimmers at the Swedish Long Course National Championships by heating up the waters in the 50 meter pool here.

Two more Swedish records fell by the wayside, and there were some other strong performances.

Once again, breaststroker Emma Igelstrom, led the way, with two strong performances. In the prelims of the 50m breaststroke, she clocked 31.97 seconds – a new national record – then proceeded to lower it in the finals to 31.41.

The ladies from Vasby SS continues to break relay records. Tonight they won the 4×100 freestyle at 3.49.08.
