Irvine NOVA Hosts Speedo Grand Challenge

IRVINE, Calif., April 23. THIS year's SPEEDO GRAND CHALLENGE, will be held on Memorial Weekend at the home pool of Irvine Novaquatics. It is, said NOVA head coach, Dr. Dave Salo, "a meet that should not be missed."

Meet organizers offer prize money for the top three in each event ($300 for first) + $100 bonus for a meet record performance.

Only the top 4 swimmers from prelims advance into the championship final heat with 16 swimmers in the consolation heats.

There will be prelims, semis and finals in 50 meter events.
