Texas' Nate Dusing Breaks School Record in 100 Yd Butterfly at Texas Invitational -- December 5, 1997

From Penny Abrahams of UT - AUSTIN, TX - University of Texas freshman Nate Dusing (Villa Hills, Ky.), swimming unshaved, broke the school record in the 100 yd butterfly (47.15) en route to a first-place finish Friday night in the Texas Invitational at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Dusing becomes the first Longhorn freshman in 10 years to set school record. Leading the Texas women, senior Vera Ilyina (Moscow, Russia), placed first on the one-meter springboard with a score of 479.95.
