Adult Swimming & Lifestyle Camp To Be Held in Scenic Vail, Colorado

Bobby Patten, head coach and co-founder of the Dallas Aquatic Masters (DAM) Swim Club, and a world record-holding Masters swimmer in his own right, has teamed with, Dr. Barry Sears, best-selling author of "The Zone" books, and Dr. Phillip Whitten, chief editor of SWIM and Swimming World magazines, author of The Complete Book Of Swimming, and a leading expert on swimming, exercise and aging, to host the first Dallas Aquatic Masters Swim Camp and Seminar Series.

The camp will be held in Vail, Colorado beginning Monday evening June 17, 2002 and end Saturday night June 23, 2002.

The camp will feature, daily swimming workouts, clinics on all four competitive strokes, flexibility training, nutrition, and stress management.

In addition each participant will be evaluated by physical therapist Nancy Pigeon, in the functional movement screen. The Functional Movement Screen is a series of specific physical tests designed to identify potential areas at risk for injury. Once these areas are identified, individual exercises will be prescribed to aid in the prevention of possible injury.

The price for six nights, clinics, workouts, the Functional Movement Screen and all lectures is $1295.00.
