World Championships on FOX -- October 27, 1997

A month ago, it appeared the 1998 World Championships would not be televised. Then, after the intervention of new USS Executive Director, Chuck Wielgus, FOX agreed to cover the meet without giving any details. Details are still trickling in but SWIMMING WORLD and SWIMINFO have learned that FOX plans to air 10 hours worth of coverage.
