USC's Hartley, Stanford's Fonner Take Titles at Stanford Diving Invite -- November 4, 2001

STANFORD, Calif., Nov. 3. STANFORD'S Jesse Fonner won the men's 3-meter on the final day of competition at the two-day Stanford Diving Invite at the Avery
Aquatic Center¹s Maas Diving Facility on Saturday.

USC's Blyth Hartley won her second event in as many days with a victory in the women¹s 3-meter.

Former Stanford diver and NCAA champion Erin Sones won the combined men's and women's 10 meter platform event, while Stanford's Kim Powers captured second.

onner scored a combined two-day total of 500.00 points to win the men's 3-meter competition, followed by teammate Adam Peterson (467.40).

Hartley won the women's 3-meter competition with a two-day score of 545.90, followed by teammate Nicci Fusaro (488.40) and Stanford's Erica Sorgi (448.10).

Sones won the men's and women's combined platform with a score of 441.20, followed by Powers (426.85) and Fonner (419.45).
