Hawaii Hires Hardman -- August 16, 1997

Scott Hardman has been named head coach of University of Hawaii Swimming. Hardman replaces 10-year veteran head coach, Daniel Arakaki who took an administrative position with the athletic department at UH.

Hardman worked with the UH swim program as a part-time assistant for the past nine years. Hardman swam for the Rainbows from 1979-82 and was co-captain of the team his senior year.
