U.S. Aquatic Sports Convention May Be Postponed -- September 11, 2001

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 11. US Aquatic Sports, which includes USA Swimming, US Masters Swimming, USA Diving, USA Water Polo, and USA Synchro Swimming,is considering postponing its Annual Convention, set to begin today in Dearborn, Michigan, due to today's terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington.

There will be an announcement today at 3 p.m. EDT (12 noon PDT) on the organization's decision, which swiminfo.com will report immediately. The announcement will also be posted on the USA Swimming website, usa-swimming.org.

USA Swimming requests that people refrain from calling the organization's headquarters in Colorado Springs.
