Hungarian Long Course Nationals: Daniel Gyurta, Laszlo Cseh, Eva Riszto Post Top 15 Times

DEBRECEN, Hungary, June 25. THE Hungarian Long Course Nationals came to a close in Debrecen with a trio of top 15 times going up on the scoreboard.

Daniel Gyurta topped the men's 200 breast in 2:10.45 to jump to ninth in the world rankings in the event. David Verraszto placed a distant second in 2:15.42, while Peter Tejes snared third in 2:20.15.

Laszlo Cseh clinched the men's 50 fly crown in 23.78 to move into a 15th-ranked tie with Jason Dunford. Bence Pulai took second in 24.52, while Krisztian Takacs placed third in 24.53.

Eva Risztov posted a 16:19.48 to win the women's 1500 free. That swim improved her to 14th in the world rankings. Boglarka Kapas hit the wall in 16:27.84 for second, while Vivien Kadas placed third in 16:52.55.

Zsuzsanna Jakabos captured the women's 50 free in 25.60, while Agnes Mutina touched second in 26.07. Evelyn Verraszto took third in 26.09. Evelyn Verraszto returned to win the women's 200 IM in 2:15.39. Mutina finished second in 2:18.83, while Reka Gyorgy placed third in 2:19.75.

Gergo Kis won the men's 200 IM in 2:02.46, while Gergely Gyurta touched second in 2:03.65. Peter Nagy earned third in 2:03.96. Kapas took home the women's 200 free title in 2:01.53. Eszter Dara placed second in 2:02.57, while Kadas snagged third in 2:02.98.

Dorina Szekeres claimed the women's 200 back in 2:14.28. Eszter Povazsai (2:16.00) and Kata Burian (2:20.61) completed the podium.

In relay action, Peter Bernek, Dominik Kozma, Bence Pulai and Laszlo Cseh won the men's 400 medley relay in 3:41.55, while Evelyn Verraszto, Anna Sztankovics, Liliana Szilagyi and Agnes Mutina captured the women's 400 medley relay in 4:13.13.
