Industry News: AntiWave Named Official Goal Supplier To USA Water Polo

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, March 30. ANTIWAVE, a leader in water polo goals and pool products has signed on as the official goal of USA Water Polo. In addition, AntiWave will produce the official Splashball goal for the recently introduced youth water polo initiative. Along with goals, USA Water Polo will also promote AntiWave's lane lines and supertensioners. The agreement, which runs through the 2012 Olympic Games, will also feature AntiWave as a supporter of the annual USA Water Polo Golf Tournament.

"It may be taken for granted, but having sturdy reliable goals are a huge part of preparing our National Teams for international competition," said Adam Krikorian, Head Coach of the World Champion USA Women's National Team. "In AntiWave we join forces with one of the premier makers of cages around the globe. Add to that what they are doing for the development of our game with the Splashball goals and this is a positive step forward for USA Water Polo."

"Antiwave is excited to be the official goal of USA Water Polo; we feel this is a great opportunity for both organizations" said Corrie Lloyd, Project Manager for Antiwave Pool Products. "We are proud to assist in the development of SplashBall, and look forward to seeing the program grow within USA Water Polo."

Maker of a variety of goals including the recreational "Club" goal and professional level "Odyssey" goal, AntiWave also produces many other related products to complete water polo courses of any size. As part of the agreement, USA Water Polo will receive a portion of all licensed sales of AntiWave goals including Splashball goals. AntiWave goals will also serve as the official goals for USA Water Polo competition at the National Training Center in Los Alamitos, CA.

USA Water Polo endorses AntiWave's Club Goal for recreational and amateur play, the Odyssey Goal for competitive and professional play, and the previously named Flippa Goal, now called the Splashball Goal, for Splashball.
