Santa Clara Swim Club to Celebrate 50th Anniversary; Will Honor Coach George Haines

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 21. THE storied Santa Clara Swim Club is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year, and the club is planning a big reunion party in on November 3 for all alumni.

There will be a special tribute to Coach George Haines (we will be presenting him with a bust, and some of his top swimmers will be there to share their remembrances of swimming for George). A dinner and silent auction will follow.

Speakers will include P.H. Mullen (author of the upcoming book "Gold in the Water"), and SCSC's
most recent Olympian, Tom Wilkens.
