Illinois-Chicago vs. Saint Louis

ST. LOUIS, Missouri, November 13. THE UIC men's and women's swimming and diving teams each garnered a victory over Saint Louis today in a road dual meet. The 34th-ranked men's squad claimed the triumph by a final score of 130-94, while the women produced a similar score of 129-95.

Individual event winners for the men included Zach Van Swol, Brian Anderson, Luke Martinez, Steve Yemm and Dan Corley.

On the women's side, event medalists included Emily Gniatczyk, Clair Martin, Melanie Waszak, Alex Farrar and Sarah Walsh.

Both squads placed first in the 200-yard medley and 200 freestyle relays, the meets' only relay races.

The Flames resume action next weekend as split squads will travel to the TYR Invitational at Northwestern and the Phoenix Fall Classic hosted by the University of Chicago. Both competitions begin on Nov. 19 and continue through Nov. 21.
