Haven Quad

LOCK HAVEN, Pennsylvania, October 22. THE Lock Haven University swim team kicked off its 2010-11 season tonight as the Lady Eagles hosted the Haven Quad.

LHU was quite impressive on their first day of competition this season.

Lock Haven head coach Andy Waeger was quite pleased with the team's effort and can't wait for tomorrow's competition.

Leading the way for The Haven was Britt Rehrig (Wilmington, Del./Charter School of Wilmington). The sophomore and returning All-American won the 100 yard breaststroke (1:08.08) and took second in the 50 freestyle (24.89). Both times are Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship qualifying marks.

The Lady Eagles 400 yard freestyle was second overall and Lock Haven is in third overall after Day 1 competition.

Lock Haven is back in action tomorrow as the Haven Quad meet continues at Zimmerli Pool.
