Nova Southeastern vs. Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Florida, October 9. THE Florida State swimming and diving team earned a sweep against Nova Southeastern on Saturday. The men defeated the Sharks 133-69, while women won 140-53.

The women (3-0), once again were balanced with nine different event winners. Sophomore Marissa Harrington once again won the 1000 free (10:23.96) and freshman Tiffany Oliver continued her strong start in the 50 free (24.05) with another victory.

On the men's side, the Seminoles (2-0) bounced back from a poor performance led by a pair of senior captains. Robby Hayes and Matt Shead both won a pair of events. Hayes touched first in the 200 individual medley (1:56.56) and the 100 free (46.58) and Shead was victorious in the 50 free (21.26) and 200 breast (2:07.24).
