The Men of USA Water Polo 2011 National Team Calendar Unveiled

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, September 30. THE USA Water Polo Men's National Team is without question one of the toughest teams in the pool, and in 2011 they might just be the best looking group of guys outside of the water, too. Available for sale beginning today, the Official USA Water Polo 2011 Men's National Team calendar will generate proceeds to fund the training of our USA National Teams as they work towards the London Olympic Games in 2012.

The calendar features 12 months of water polo hunks: Water Polo fans now have a chance to make every month a special one with the greats of American water polo displaying their awesome physiques as a result of playing one of the most physically demanding sports on earth. Water polo players are required to swim fast, shoot quickly, and be tougher than the other guy, all while remaining calm, cool, and collected in a tactical game of skill that requires equal amounts of brains and brawn. Winners of the Silver Medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China the US men are working hard to take the next step in London.

"Sales of this calendar will help us in making it possible to achieve our dreams of winning a Gold Medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. We work hard in the water and gym to have our bodies in the best condition possible to achieve peak performance in our games. We hope everyone enjoys the calendar and we thank them for their support," said 2008 Olympian and Mr. January, Merrill Moses.

"Fundraising is a critical part of our program, and with this calendar we hope to both raise money to help us train as well as spread interest and support for water polo," added 2008 Olympian and Mr. October, Peter Varellas.

The men of USA Water Polo will be appearing on the KTLA morning show the week of October 4 – 8 to promote the calendar during the morning weathercasts at approximately 8:45 am Monday through Friday.
