Split Time, Sept. 11, 2010: A Call for Change in FINA

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 11. THIS week's edition of Split Time features a discussion with SwimNews.com writer Craig Lord about a movement to break from FINA, the world governing body of aquatic sports, and form a new organization.

Host Garrett McCaffrey and Lord participate in 20-minute discussion about the reasons why some coaches are calling for the formation of the World Swimming Association, an organization that would be a "shadow organization" ready to step in and act as a voice for coaches who were felt their voice was not heard recently, particularly during the techsuit issue in 2009. Watch the show in the video player below and visit Swimming World.TV for past Split Time episodes.
