Tucson Ford's Annie Chandler moved up to second with a 1:08.07 capping an incredible year in which she also won an NCAA title in short course yards. Her time tonight moved her to 13th in the world. Auburn's Micah Lawrence rounded out the top three with a 1:08.48.

KING's Megan Jendrick (1:08.54), Nittany Lions' Corrie Clark (1:08.77), Tucson Ford's Amanda Beard (1:09.12), Trojan's Jessica Hardy (1:09.24) and Trojan's Keri Hehn (1:09.46) completed the rest of the heat. Hardy went out quick with a 30.92, but paid for the effort and faded down the stretch.
