Tampa Bay Marathon Swim Is This Saturday

THE 24-mile Tampa Bay Marathon Swim is being held this Saturday in Tampa. Twenty-one individuals and several relay teams have signed up for the event. Check out the competitors at: www.DistanceMatters.com/competitors2001.html

Following the swim, which ends at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in St. Petersburg, there will be party. Party time should be about 6pm. See the following web site for details:

For those who live in the Tampa area, catch Fox 13's "Good Day Tampa Bay" on Friday, April 20, 6am-9am. Russell Rhodes will be doing live remotes on the race.
