PHOENIX, Arizona, June 11. THE upcoming July issue of Swimming World Magazine focuses on the Pan Pacific Championships and the U.S. National Championships coming up in Irvine this August.

Jason Marsteller looks at some storylines and subplots to look out for during the Pan Pacific and National Championships that might be overlooked. Meanwhile, Jeff Commings looks back to Aug. 20, 1989 at the Pan Pacific Championships when four different swimmers broke four world records on the same day.
