CLEMSON, South Carolina, May 3. JUST days after finding out its athletics department decided to phase out its swimming and diving program as previously reported, student-athletes at Clemson have begun to mobilize to try to save their program.
The Clemson swimming and diving team and alumni created the Save Clemson Swimming & Diving Facebook page to help organize the movement to save the program. In just a few days, already more than 7,000 Facebook users have joined the account.
