NCSA Junior Nationals: Day Four in the Books

ORLANDO, Florida, March 19. THE fourth day of short course yard action is in the books at the NCSA Junior Nationals.

Aquajet's Rachel Bootsma won the women's 100 back in 52.25, while West Coast's Cindy Tran took second in 53.59. StingRay's Alana Pazevic placed third in 54.05. Long Island's John Wagner claimed the men's 100 back in 49.25, while Poseidon's Samuel Rairden finished second in 49.33. Star's Philip Aronica wound up third in 49.41.

Nova of Virginia's Rachel Naurath kept winning with a 4:44.52 in the women's 500 free. Aquazot's Megan Rankin took second in 4:47.71, while West Coast's Kelsey Cummings took third in 4:49.03. Lakeview's Clay Youngquist captured the men's 500 free in 4:19.49. Blue Tide's Matthew Barber touched second in 4:23.03, while Hinsdale's Daniel Thomson finished third in 4:23.75.

Nova of Virginia's Rebecca Rainer won the women's 200 breast in 2:11.54. Aquajets' Abigail Duncan took second in 2:11.65, while Aquazot's Casey Mims earned third in 2:14.11. Davie Nadadores' Nicholas Manousos topped the men's 200 breast in 1:59.91. Fox Valley's Kevin Cordes earned second in 2:00.66, while Nova of Virginia's Hunter Knight picked up third in 2:01.14.

Academy Bullets' Olivia Scott snared the women's 100 fly in 53.44. Bootsma pocketed her second podium of the night with a second-place 53.63, while Academy Bullets' Mackenzie Powers touched third in 54.09. Sean Fletcher claimed the men's 100 fly in 47.07. Tucson Ford's Roger Miesfeld turned in a second-place 47.85, while Rairden grabbed third in 48.45.

The Aquajet foursome of Heather Arseth, Hailey Campbell, Tess Behrens and Bootsma won the women's 200 free relay in 1:32.97. Long Island's Oliver Lee, Nicholas Spinella, Austin Kowalsky and John Wagner snagged the men's 200 free relay in 1:22.10.
