Czech Long Course Championships: Final Day Concludes

CHOMUTOV, Czech Republic, March 14. THE last day of swimming concluded at the Czech Long Course Championships held in Chomutov.

Petra Chocova touched out Alzbeta Rehurkova, 28.53 to 28.77, to win the women's 50 fly. Barbora Olsavska took third in 28.95. Michal Rubacek claimed the men's 50 fly title in 24.73. Tomas Balicek (25.48) and Jiri Jedlicka (25.50) finished second and third.

Barbora Zavadova snagged the women's 400 IM title in 4:49.36, while Martina Elhenicka finished second in 4:59.64. Rehurkova earned her second podium with a third-place 5:00.86. Karel Baloun topped the men's 400 IM in 4:34.01. Dominik Bartos (4:35.01) and Ondrej Fiedler (4:38.17) placed second and third.

Anna Kolarova earned the women's 100 free crown in 58.89, while Tereza Mrackova took second in 58.97. Hana Lefnerova grabbed third in 59.02. Martin Verner picked up the men's 100 free title in 50.06. Tomas Plevko (51.14) and Michal Rubacek (51.51) rounded out the top three.

Michaela Altova snared the women's 200 breast in 2:39.01, while Lucie Nejezchlebova touched in 2:40.17 for second. Helena Pikhartova finished in 2:40.29 to take third place. Jedlicka took his second podium of the day with a 2:19.78 to win the men's 200 breast. Jan Kutil earned second in 2:20.93, while Jiri Vlcek placed third in 2:22.94.

Simona Baumrtova took home the women's 100 back in 1:02.42, while Marketa Strapkova picked up second in 1:03.37. Lenka Jarosova earned third in 1:04.47. Martin Badura (57.27), Ondrej Palatka (58.59) and Tomas Fucik (58.74) paced the men's 100 back.
