New Hampshire Division 2 High School State Championships

DURHAM, New Hampshire, March 7. AT the New Hampshire Division 2 High School State Championships, Oyster River won two state titles. The Oyster River girls tallied 224 points for first followed by Soughegan (184) and St. Thomas Aquinas (159). On the boys' side, Oyster River won with 260 points while Bedford took second (186) and Souhegan placed third (167).

Girls Results
Oyster River won two of three relays. Samantha Vaughn, Ashley Ayer, Julie Roehrig, and Emma Rotner (the 200 free champ in 1:56.31) won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:57.24.

Roehrig was a dual event winner in the 200 IM (2:15.02) and the 100 butterfly (59.75).

Lebanon's Emily Wadlinger had individual wins in the 50 and 100 freestyles. She clocked times of 25.06 and 54.24, respectively.

Soughegan won the 200 freestyle relay. Taylor Studley, Emily Rego, Allison Mensh, and Kelsey Hinrichs contributed to the win.

Top finishers in the diving competition include Portsmouth's Morgan Smith (219.00), St. Thomas Aquinas' Singe Frick (202.15) and Porsmouth's Sarah Winchell (196.20).

Mallory Ament, Caitlin Ayer, Roehrig, and Rotner won the 400 freestyle relay (3:49.20).

Boys Results
Jamie Lutze, Andrew Disco, Eric Howard, and Robert Graham (Soughegan) won the 200 medley relay (1:47.09).

Disco won back-to-back events in the 100 backstroke and the 100 breaststroke. He clocked times of 53.40 and 1:03.99, respectively.

Tom Duvall (Oyster River) was a dual event winner in the 200 IM (2:04.45) and the 500 freestyle (4:46.73).

Oyster River's Jack Lewis won the diving competition (325.65). His teammates, Arturo Jaras Watts and Scott Mulligan, followed with scores of 270.90 and 219.50, respectively.

Ryan Horton, Sam Long, Parker Eastman, and Alex Jones (Oyster River) won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.07.

Senior Dan Duvall (Oyster River) had individual wins in the 50 (22.52) and 100 (49.12) freestyles. He teamed up with T. Duvall, Horton and Joe Lane for a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:31.00).
