Ivy League Championships: Day Two

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts, February 24. THE Harvard women's swimming and diving team captured three titles on Friday as it increased its lead to 92 points at the 2012 Ivy League Championships.

Freshmen Kelsey Hojan-Clark and Courtney Otto took home the individual crowns in the 1,000 free and 400 IM, respectively, with Hojan-Clark becoming the fourth Crimson to win the 1,000 and Otto claiming the 400 IM for the 11th time in program history. Catherine Zagroba, Sara Li, Otto and Faith Martin closed day two out with a win in the 800 free relay, marking the sixth time the event has gone to Harvard.

Harvard leads the team standings with 942.5 points, 92 points ahead of Princeton which is in second with 850.5. Yale sits in third place (739.5) while Columbia (716), Penn (539), Dartmouth (536.5), Brown (484.5) and Cornell (461.5) round things out. Harvard is in search of the program's 10th Ivy League Championship while attempting to knock off the two-time defending champion Tigers.
