Serbian Grand Prix: Nadja Higl, Men’s 200 Medley Relay Set Serbian Records

BELGRADE, Serbia, November 7. TWO more Serbian records fell during the second day of short course meter swimming at the Serbian Grand Prix.

Nadja Higl downed the Serbian record in the women's 200 IM with a time of 2:17.18. That effort lowered her 2:20.85 set in November 2008. The men's 200 medley relay team of Igor Vulesevic, Ivan Lendjer, Caba Siladji and Vladislav Paskas took down their respective Serbian record.

Meanwhile, Miroslav Udicki won the men's 50 back title with a 26.70 that set the junior national record. Udicki took down another junior national record in the men's 200 back with a 2:03.95.

Andjelika Petrovic topped the women's 50 back with a 30.16, while Siladji took home the men's 50 breast in 27.51. Tanja Smid won the women's 50 breast in 32.56. Boris Stojanovic captured the men's 200 free in 1:48.47 with Milica Ostojic taking the women's 200 free in 2:00.80. Gabrijela Golob Dobrina snatched the women's 200 back in 2:17.24.

In other action, Marko Spasov won the men's 100 fly in 56.67, while Tijana Vukanovic snagged the women's 100 fly in 1:02.95. Sara Ilic set the age group record for 12-year-olds in the women's 100 fly with a third-place 1:06.37. Rok Sagmeister picked up the men's 800 free crown in 8:21.27, while Tjasa Oder won the women's 800 free in 8:28.10.
