William and Mary vs. Davidson

Davidson, North Carolina, October 30. THE William and Mary Tribe men' swimming and diving team continued its winning ways on Friday night, defeating Davidson, 131-87. With the victory, the Tribe improves its record to 3-0 on the season.

Leading the way for the College at the meet was sophomore Stephen Fay, who won two individual events. Fay won the 500 free in a time of 4:49.40 and the 1,000 free in a time of 9:53.34. For the season, Fay now has five individual victories.

Also with five individual victories so far this season is freshman Hunter Perrot, who touched the wall first in the 200 free in a time of 1:44.60.

Also capturing individual wins against the Wildcats on Friday night were juniors Michael Naccarelli and Mike Newcomb. Naccarelli won the 100 free with a time of 48.00, while Newcomb won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 211.71.

In the relays, the Tribe started off the meet with the team of sophomore Jake Maloy, freshman Ben Ward, senior Kevin Lynch, and senior Kevin Gallagher winning the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:30.68. Then to end the meet, the Tribe's relay team of Ward, redshirt-freshman Max Glober, Gallagher, and Naccarelli captured the 200 free relay with a time of 1:26.26.

Next up for the William and Mary Tribe men's swimming and diving team will be the CAA pod meet on November 6-8, where the Tribe will face conference rivals Old Dominion and Drexel.
