Rikke Moller Peterson Downs European Records at Danish Championships -- October 25, 2009
ODENSE, Denmark, October 25. RIKKE Moller Peterson lowered a pair of European short course records over the weekend at the Danish Short Course Championships.
Petersen first clocked a time of 1:04.59 in the women's 100-meter breaststroke to down Valentina Artemyeva's previous mark of 1:04.71. Petersen then returned in the 200-meter breaststroke to clock a time of 2:18.52. That performance lowered another Russian's record, this time Yuliya Efimova's 2:19.08.
