PERTH, Australia, September 9. THREE Australian short course Masters records fell at the Darling Range Sports College 1500-meter meet on Saturday. The meet was hosted by the Maida Vale Masters club.

Victor Paul claimed two records in the 65-69 division with top times in the 800 free (11:00.34) and 1500 free (20:40.76). Both times broke records previously set by John Crisp in 2004.

In his first season as a Masters swimmer, Eric Watson took down an 11-year-old record in the 20-24 1500 free. He clocked a 17:56.56 to beat Alexander Phillips' record by 27.26 seconds.
