Industry News: Michael Phelps Takes Part in Subway Baseball Design Across America Charity -- August 29, 2009
WILLIAMSPORT, Pennsylvania, August 29. MICHAEL Phelps and other notable names are participating in the Subway Baseball Design Across America program which displays baseballs designed by Little Leaguers and autographed by celebrities and athletes.
The display has been traveling around the country and is currently in Williamsport, Penn., at the Little League World Series. The display baseballs are being auctioned via eBay's charity site with all proceeds to benefit Little League. The auction ends Sunday night, so be sure to check out the autographed baseballs online as soon as possible by clicking here.
