June 7, 2009 Schoeman bombed out of the 50, 19th. I think Trickett may have gotten the WR if the 50 Fly hadn't been RIGHT before it. Great swim for Gangloff. Maybe he has what it takes to win Worlds in the 50. Remember, he was silver medalist (behind 35-year old Mark Warnecke) in 2005. If he saves enough for the finals, he will be able to really challenge guys like van der Burgh, who may be the favorite now (with the Jaked worn by Felipe Silva when he set the WR gone). Be interesting to see how she does when she's rested, gtapered and NOT wearing army boots and 500-pound weights on her wrists and ankles!
Look out Britta, Dara and Marlene. Submitted by: slickwillie32
