Unapproved Suits Getting Second Chance

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, May 26. SUITS that originally did not make the FINA approved list last week may get a second chance shortly according to a report by SwimNews.com.

Blueseventy, which missed out completely on the FINA approved list, recently called into question the testing process, "and has called for its suits be retested when stretched on a swimmer because the Dubai Charter mentions "when in use" in relation to the air-trapping properties of suits. When in use, suits are stretched."

This new charge against the testing process has led to a new set of tests being done this week. These tests might wind up with blueseventy and other suits, originally not approved, being added onto the current list of 202 approved suits.
