May’s SWIM Section Offers Stroke Improvement Tips

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 6. SEEING swimming as an unending learning experience, Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen outlines the importance of consistently examining your stroke for possible improvements.

In her monthly column, The Pool's Edge, she urges readers to regularly take inventory of their strokes to see how they might be able to make them more efficient.

This month's Lane Leaders highlights Masters swimmer Dennis Baker. Although being involved with Masters for a relatively short period of time, Baker has established himself as one of the top performers in the world. An accomplished coach as well as swimmer, in this feature Baker imparts sage advice to swimmers of all levels.

Also in this edition of the SWIM section is the monthly feature, Gutter Talk. In this section, readers get a summary of those involved in Masters swimming who are making news in the sport.
