Results Are In For The 21st European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships

LEN Press Release

GLOUCESTER, Great Britain, April 28. AS last year, all four titles went to Russia at the 21st European Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships at Barton Pool in Gloucester, Great Britain. There was, however, renewal within the team. In the solo, Svetlana Kolesnichenko (92.500 points) succeeded her three-time winning team-mate Anna Udovik, who was no longer eligible. In duet, Aleksandra Zueva and Ksenia Voynova (93.000 points) are the new title holders.

As expected, Russia's synchronised swimming juniors also proved successful in the team (93.000 points) and the free combination (92.833) events. Spain and, for the first time, the Ukraine shared second position in the medal table by winning two silver and two bronze medals each. The Ukraine thus succeeded Greece among Europe's top three countries. Spain and the Ukraine both presented new talents who had not yet achieved any medals at European Junior Championships.

The following 20 of the 51 LEN Member Federations competed in Gloucester:
