Relive April 9 Live Edition of The Morning Swim Show: 100 Free Battle at YMCA Nationals; Laura Val on Setting Masters World Records -- April 9, 2009

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 9. TODAY'S live edition of The Morning Swim Show featured an interview with the top vote-getter as the female Masters world swimmer of the year for Swimming World Magazine.

In case you missed our live show (airing each weekday at 10:30 a.m. MST), you can watch a video of two female athletes battling it out in the 100 free to set a new national record at the YMCA nationals in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Host Peter Busch goes on to interview Laura Val, who broke 20 Masters world records in 2008, but said she has a hard time remembering her record times and rarely knows for sure if a time she swum is a new record. She also talked about her training and how the new high-tech suits have brought excitement into the sport.
